I am an adult, and I expect my writing partners to be as well (in both age and maturity). If you are uncomfy with something, please tell me. I will be understanding. For everything else, there may be content NSFW or triggering. I will try to tag it.
Relationships should develop organically. I may make exceptions if I really dig a starter you wrote. Other than that I am down for romantic/platonic entanglements, friendships, rivalries, and anything in between.
I love alternate universes. My characters originate from the MMOs 'City of Heroes' or 'The Secret World'; however, I have expanded their backgrounds on Tumblr to be fandomless. I am happy to interact with fandom and canon characters if I am familiar with the verse.
I can get very wordy. Don’t feel obligated to match lengths, but please give me something to work with.
I operate on Eastern Time in the United States. I work during the day, and I have a very small window on weeknights during which I can devote to gaming/RP. Please be patient with me if I am slow with replies. Generally speaking though, I don’t like to have people waiting on me. I will get to you!
Go ahead and mash that Like button. I do not mind. I get why some people don’t want random likes all over their feed, but honestly, I’m thrilled that people even read my stuff, much less like it. I pour a lot into my writing, and it’s nice to know someone took a moment to give even the smallest amount of feedback.
This is a text-heavy blog. I am not much into faceclaims or pretty formatting, and I am (not) sorry if this a deal-breaker. I simply have no desire to scour the internet for suitable gifs to make my muses 'palatable' for RP. I’d much rather focus on writing. Feel free to make your posts as pretty as you want, though; you're not bothering me.
Writing about sensitive or dark topics does not equal to endorsement in my real life. Likewise if I engage in your sensitive or dark topics, it means I want to explore it with you. Let’s write something together.
I am okay with writing smut, but I am very selective about it. There just must be some sort of plot or exploration or romantic/emotional component or chemistry involved. It doesn’t need to be complicated. It’s okay if scenes turn steamy. It’s also okay if they don’t. I am also okay with time-skip or FTB, if you would rather not write smut. // I also try to put smut under a Read More, but some people I write with don’t do that. Block the tag #nsfw or turn on the Mature Content filter if you don’t want to see it on your dash.

ㅤThe City of Heroesㅤ A quintessential sorcerer, Markel Smythe was born a natural conduit for magic. He was "discovered" as a child by a order of mages, who turned his talents toward sensing and combat in their never-ending struggle against evil. This secretive order valued the "sanctity" of magic and zealously pursued those whom they judged as "profaners" of the magical arts. Given the dark magic that Markel now wields, it can be surmised that he broke hard from their ranks at some point.ㅤGoing Rogueㅤ Markel has lived a rather storied life on both good and bad sides of the law. But even in a relatively safe "retirement" in the Etoile Isles, he finds himself dad and teacher to a number of children, natural and adopted.

ㅤThe City of Villainsㅤ Raised in the rough-and-tumble Etoile Isles, David Weiss became a soldier to escape an impoverished life. In a world where the strong and the clever and the under-handed rule, Huntsman Weiss was known for being a hard but fair commander. He performed well, serving for twenty years before being allowed to wear the white armor of the judges of Etoile, the Arbiters.In Etoile, the word of the Arbiters is absolute. From the poorest citizen to the maddest scientist, all must abide by their judgement. To do harm against an Arbiter is a death sentence.ㅤGoing Rogueㅤ And then he died, killed in action while pursuing a criminal. Why Arbiter Weiss still walks and is no longer affiliated with his government is a matter under some serious question. Some organizations would pay very well to get their hands on a former arbiter, willingly or otherwise.

ㅤModern / Supernatural / Horror / Cyberpunk / Post-Apocalypticㅤ In most modern verses, Weiss is human and military-trained. In worlds where the setting supports it, he may display magical powers or immortality from an unknown source. His most likely professions are secret agent, bodyguard, bouncer, bounty hunter, or a freelancer of some sort. Weiss’s previous employer may be ambiguous or very shady.ㅤSpace / Sci-fiㅤ Weiss may be a military man, a spaceship captain, or a bounty hunter. He is also likely to be a pilot of some sort. If the setting supports “magic”, played straight or otherwise (i.e. biotics from Mass Effect, or Destiny), he may display such talents.ㅤFantasy / Medievalㅤ Weiss is most likely to be a soldier in the King's/Queens's guard.
ㅤDragon Ageㅤ I have a number of moots who are into Dragon Age. I haven't played this game myself (it's on the list). If I put David Weiss into Dragon Age with yours, and not some generic fantasy verse, he will have amnesia regarding events and the world in general. He does have a peasant background, however, and is handy with a spear. Please bear with him!ㅤDuneㅤ Dune: A young Sardaukar who came of age during the events of the book. He was not present for the events of the final battle when the Emperor surrendered up Paul. Dune Messiah: Weiss is a Sardaukar spy for House Corrino. After their exile to Salusa Secundus, Weiss has been sent out to be one of the many eyes and ears of the 'true' Padishah Emperor. Children of Dune: He was there when Leto II claimed the Sardaukar. He is assimilated into a new role into the palace on Arrakis.ㅤDune: Awakeningㅤ One of the many 'Sleepers' conditioned to find the Fremen, Weiss makes his home in a remote part of the O'odham, away from people and trying to find a cure for his bloodlust.ㅤThe Invisible Libraryㅤ Book series by Genevieve Cogman. Weiss is a Librarian (book thief) in this AU. I'd be interested in having a Librarian cohort or any sort of adventure / partnership / rivalry with a Dragon or Fae.ㅤStarfieldㅤ David Weiss is a freelancer aboard his heavy starfighter, the Sentry. When he was first getting into the business, he was hired to transport a shipment, no questions asked. Having a bad feeling, he opened the container in transit to find a girl in cryosleep, likely destined for exploitation. He surrendered himself and his cargo to the authorities rather than let the girl reach her destination. In exchange for avoiding jail time, he tipped off everything he knew about the pirate syndicate who hired him. These pirates now seek their repayment from him, preferably in blood.

After the death of his adoptive mother in a bank robbery, his father buried himself in his work to deal with his grief. Father and son grew distance. Jacob left the Etoile Islands for the City of Heroes to become a masked gunslinger, and he had modest success as a small-time hero.ㅤGoing Rogueㅤ Several years later, while out on a job, he was attacked by an anthropomorphic feline creature. Far away from any kind of support, he succumbed to the infection in his blood and was transformed into a were-panther (jaguar). He still tries to continue his work as a hero, but his new primal nature occasionally plays havoc upon his emotions.
